Selecting a software package
is only the beginning; there are many hurdles
left to clear for the program to run effectively
for your business. Our team can help you reach
the finish line in good shape. If ERP.COM
assisted in your software selection project, we
use the system requirements profile to develop
an implementation and training plan. If you have
already selected a package and seek assistance
in implementing it, we can conduct a system
requirements profiling analysis. We strongly
believe that this analysis is critical to:

The profiling process is
conducted by experienced ERP.COM
consultants using the Requirements
BuilderTM
software. To build the profile, they follow
methodologies described in a document called The
SoftSelect Process, which is included in
this information kit. For a multi-location
enterprise the process can be conducted for
individual sites so each has its respective
needs and priorities established.
The
Deliverables
SoftSelect produces a report
that illustrates the capabilities of the
software packages you are implementing compared
with your requirements. This assumes that the
package is in the SoftSelect software product
database. If it is not, SoftSelect can obtain
information about the capabilities of the
package, or your team can conduct this research.
Standard report components are:
| Statistics (by module) of how effective
your software package is relative to your
current needs as established in the
SoftSelect standard question set. |
| Detailed features matrix of your current
systems capabilities and deficiencies. |
We also deliver a copy of our
Requirements OrganizerTM software,
which you can use to manage your profile during
the implementation and training as well as for
